Boscombe Down Aviation Collection; Model Show Sunday 27 July 2026

We have been invited to exhibit our I/C engines and other aviation related models at the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection; IPMS BDAC Model Show on Sunday 27 July 2026. The show, which is being held in Hangar 1, Old Sarum Airfield, Salisbury SP4 6DZ, will be open to the public from 10.00 hours and will close at 16.00 hours. Access for exhibitors will be from 07.00 hours to 17.30 hours. Parking is free.

We have been allocated upto two, six foot long trestle tables. Are any of our members interested in bringing and exhibiting their I/C engines and other aviation related models for this one day show? If so, let me know quickly, as the display tables are allocated on a first come first served basis.

As you may already know I already have my Bristol Mercury and Bristol Jupiter engines on a long term loan to the Museum. I will take one of the available tables for my other engines. Anyone else interested in exhibiting?

Just bouncing this back up the top of the list - I have the date in my diary and hope to be there Mike, but no models to show sadly.
