Nicely done, they make a great looking pair.  I might be inspired to do another oscillator.  - Reed

Do you have a build series utube or a forum on that!  Would really like to see how that was done.  Blondihacks is doing a locomative but has larger machines than my Sherlines...  Serious thinking of buying Little Machine Shop hi-torque 7450 7x16 lathe just to do just a little bit bigger things than risers.

FYI - My build was from the New Shay book, similar to the Shay book, just a slightly different design.

Wish I knew...would of saved me some money.  :'(  Plan on getting all his books at some time anyway.  As the  :old:  saying goes can't win them all but I did luck out and bought the Elmer's Engines book back in 1989 or so from Live Steam Magazine.  Read where it is a considered a "collector" book now.

Thats why the 'New Shay' was in the title of the thread. They are not that different a design, and the techniques are all the same. Still well worth the read!
