Revisiting a DIY Arduino/Forth Electronic Leadscrew Project

vtsteam:
Thanks kindly, Jack! Very glad if it is.

Not much time today, but I did get the ELS plate mounted, added a red reset push button, and mounted the whole thing on the lathe. The reset causes the little controller to re-read the switch positions when a change is wanted. Otherwise the ELS stays with the last setting it read. This prevents inadvertent changes if a switch is accidentally changed.

The larger toggle switch toward the bottom is a FWD-OFF-REVERSE switch for the spindle direction. The small toggles are A through F thread pitch selection, and the 7th far left switch is for LH or RH hand threads. It switches sideways, the others up and down.

Also a photo of the whole lathe with the new ELS -- hard to photo in a shop only 6 feet wide!
