Oscillator Cylinder Pattern
vtsteam:
Thanks Paul. Between 5 and 9 inches predicted for tomorrow evening, and chance of snow for the entire rest of the week, so I just have to figure out something else to do.
CI:
We have strange weather here, since I guess we are on the border of prevaling hot/cold weather fronts often, and thus the reason we have so many tornadoes.
Most rural houses in this area and going west have fallout shelters, and they make some nice precast ones these days.
More than a few folks have been saved by their fallout shelter in this area.
One photo from a few years ago showed a bare slab where a house once stood, and a small concrete shelter at one corner of the slab remaining that saved the entire family.
I have had to run the air conditioning in my office for the last three days.
Outside temperatures in the mid 60's.
I recall when I started foundry work, I would write down and make pictorials for all the steps that had to happen, in the correct order.
I remember forgeting steps, and getting steps out of order.
I finally have memorized everything, and have a consistent approach to molding, designs, and such.
I still do a dry run before any iron pour, to make sure all the tools are in place, and to make sure I remember the motions and such, and verify fuel tank levels, etc.
The insects are starting to emerge here unfortunately due to the warm weather.
Spring in February; LOL.
We don't have much of a winter here, and that is perfectly ok with me.
