I'm very glad you like the engine. The valve ultimately dictated the dimensions. Actually, the engine should have been taller. As it is, the proportions are rather unusual. But I think you'll recognize it as a bottle engine.

Is it a typical American engine?

At least with the extra guide rail under the valve chest.

I enjoyed building it, though.

So, the engine is finally finished. I've added an exhaust pipe, a pulley, and an oil reservoir.
