mist lube tank blew up

I started a cycle on my 6 year old Tormach and it automatically turned on mist lube. The tank immediately exploded. The failure was at the threaded flange and made quite the mess. Luckily, it was on the side of the machine enclosure and not within line of site of me, and nothing hit me, but the machine light electrics were not so lucky. Took the system right out!. So I just bought a SST mist lube system and a new light.
Anybody else have a mist lube tank blow on them? or am I just special?

I use a Trico Micro-Drop and have never had any issues, glad that you didn't take any shrapnel.

Thanks guys it failed at the threaded joint. Took off like a rocket straight down and took out some wiring. 300 bucks later well I'll be back at it.
