Thank you for having me on this forum.  I was having issues trying to get my account verified so I could log on and a few fine people on this site helped make it happen and I greatly appreciate it.  I am very new to to this hobby and starting all of this late in life...I'll be 62 in a few weeks.  I still have not yet purchased a lathe and mill...Hopefully very soon.  I have been reading and watching videos as much as I can and hope to learn as much as I can from you all.  Thanks again and if anyone has any questions for me please ask away.

Welcome Bob, great to have you here.
The biggest problem I have had with model engines is that I really want to build all of them, and so I have had to force myself to focus on one at a time.

Do you have some builds in mind ?

What sort of lathe and mill are you looking to acquire ?
Opinions vary widely on lathes and mills.
For me it is the least expensive item that will work adquately, since my funding gets spread across machining and foundry items.
