PVC turning
(1/1)
tghs:
I was using some schedule 80 pvc to make a mold master for a model ship project.. having a bit of a hard time getting a gentle curve to the top section,, grabbed a cabinet scraper and it worked like magic,, nice thin curls of pvc covered the lathe :whoohoo: used it to surface finish other areas that had been turned..

Neat trick! The scraper was the flexible type so you could arc it to the curve?
tghs:
being big and wide I just worked it across the radius,, nice and smooth, no grooves..
