Nowadays with 3d printing an cnc should be interesting too!

I remember those plans from when they first came out. :old:     Wanted to build one at school during metal work lessons, but never allowed to. :ThumbsDown:

If you did build one, they were notoriously difficult to start, without a large volume, compressed air supply. If you did succeed, they were extremely LOUD. The tail pipe glowed red hot, so they were also deemed to be an extreme fire risk; free flight or radio controlled flying of any pulse jet is banned in UK, due to the fire risk to both property and crops.

Would be a fun project.

I remember Scrapheap challenge and Junkyard Wars in the US had episodes where they built similar jet engines.......they worked well, looked amazing and a good way to lose your hair!!  :Lol:
