I have the opportunity to purchase this cast parts set. However, I'm not familiar with the model. I also don't know if all the parts are included. The main parts are there.

The seller doesn't have a blueprint for it.
(Is this the engine that Jo is building?)
I find the design interesting.

Yes I would say that is the one Jo is making, Sold by Clarkson originally and now done by Blackgates.

The seller bought the castings about 30 years ago.

Yes, all the castings are there but you need all the Bevel gears.

Yes, that's right, the motor needs the bevel gears for the ball Regulator. I suppose I can replace them with metric bevel gears.
