Thank you all for your kind words and importantly your knowledge and encouragement; I'm not sure if I'd have kept going for so long without it. It certainly taught me that I need more patinence and putting things away and coming back to them helps.

It was important for me to get this sowrking as its the first non-steam engine I've attempted, so with that under my belt I'd like to make another of this type of engine and progress onto an ICE engine.
