I've just returned from a classic car exhibition that was held in our city today. In Germany, vehicles and motorcycles are considered classic cars if they are at least 30 years old. Then the car can be registered as a classic car and it gets an "H" at the end of the license plate. The taxes you have to pay are always the same small amount, regardless of whether it has a 100cc or 30-liter engine.

There was a lot to see, and perhaps some of it will be of interest to you as well.

What astonishes me is that cars I had as a teenager and in my early 20s are now consider classic cars and selling for huge amounts of money  - we took them to the scrapyard when they didn't work as we couldn't afford to fix them  :facepalm:

Yes, the prices for such old cars are unbelievable these days, and when I think that my grandfather once owned an EMW like that...
