I visit rarely these days but heard from Whiskey this morning of Stan's passing.

sad news indeed he lead a full life ,made many great models. I remember meeting up with him and a few others and touring the Hagley.

I'm sorry to hear about this. A few of us MEM types would set up together at NAMES shows and I had some very good conversations with Stan. A smart and funny guy. After he kind of "dropped out" of here, I had brief email conversations with him. He was building something like a small hand-pumped reed organ (as I remember) and we talked a bit about the design of wind chimes. Yes he had a variety of interests and I believe taught photography at university level.  --Tim
