GWR Dean Goods engine in (G3 2.5in)
Fresh out of the paint shop, as there is only one example in preservation in Steam Museum at Swindon, we are more used to seeing these engines in B&W images.  I think it looks as good in B&W

You really have your process of building these wonderful Locomotives and Wagons down to a Tee  :praise2:

So another one leaves the Shop and goes .... where ?

This is another very fine model in your parade of attractive and characterful historic locomotive models, and a really classic workhorse of the GWR this time.   The collection of these sizeable loco models must be most impressive when they are gathered together.  Have you got any photos that show this personal museum of railway history assembled as a group?  Dave

Thank you for your kind comments, the reason why I started building G3 engines was she who must be obeyed said no more large-scale engine i.e. 5in gauge, as the house is full. But now we have another problem the house is full of G3 models.
I have 3 display cases which are now full, so I need to build another once I find a corner to put it.
I am more a builder than a runner, once built and run on my test track my interest turns to another build, hopeless!!
