Hi Willy, that looks really good. And when I think about how much work it would be to build the bearings in sections as well.

More work and I am using the new  LED lamp. I am using a small PROXON cross and topside to drill the holes in  these small components ..they are made from aluminium so I don't use it for milling !! just to position the parts.  I have been turning the parts  putting on the  curved potions  I use these two stops for the tool positions  one is a jubilee clip and the other side is a block of steel......I have also modified the digital calliper to use in the confines of the Unimatt lathe.

Interesting modification to the calipers - lots of times when that would be handy, getting in between parts and such. Did you use a grinder on that edge of the jaws?

Hi Chris ...yes  I did use
an angle grinder and I do have quite a few of these to modify. and it dosn't ruin the electronics !! I have used them on other equipment by drilling holes in them
cheers

All the eccentric rods are done and the 30 10 BA bolt holes were tapped successfully ..I use this large handled tap holder for these and I push the tap when turning it. I hold both parts in my hands...
