Great to see the photos of many fine models, thanks Andy for posting these. The several tandem compound mill engines are particularly nice.  Dave

I'll add a +1 for the thanks for photos, and for people willing and able to go and exhibit.

I've been to the MMEX, and some of the Model Engineer exhibitions, but the flying over the Atlantic means that it is not a short jaunt down the motorway - so taking the time to exhibit, and photograph, AND posting pictures/videos is appreciated.  John

What a lot of lovely engines!

Many, many, thanks to all who made this happen, from Mike for organising it, to the four guys manning the stand and to all those who supplied models and posted the many photos and videos on here.  For someone stuck in France and unable to visit in person as had been intended, it really made my day to see this thread.  Very much appreciated, one and all.

We should not forget Mike Cole, who single-handed manned the MEM stand on Thursday and Friday with his superb collection of radial and i/c engines. I think these engines could be seen on one of the videos. I had hoped to join Mike Cole on the Thursday but did not feel up it on the day.  :disappointed:

Thank you Mike, yes I was there on Thurs and Friday with a friend who moves the heavy engines for me,we had lots of interest
on both days. I had a small banner printed and we pined it onto the back wall behind the tables, also I had 120 business cards
printed to hand out to those who were interested. Most of my aero engines are on the youtube video.
The organizers were very helpful on both days we were there, we had a good time though we were driving160miles a day
Thanks again Mike for the paperwork it worked well.

I planned to say 'hello' but you were swamped with visitors both times I came by.
