Sorry I am no longer capable of driving for hours, woman-ing a stand for a day and then driving home for hours after.

I am planning to attend Guildford next month for one day and even that will knock me for six for many days afterwards :(

Thanks for calling in. Sorry to hear you are not up to attending MMEX this year. Unfortunately, time marches on and many of us are no longer able to do as much as we would like. Hope to see you again at Guildford.

Hello All,

Today is the first of August. It is also the time for all exhibiters to provide me with all the necessary information for me to book the space, tables etc. on their behalf.

Exhibiters need to send me (by PM or e-mail) the following details:
1) Dates they wish to attend
2) Names of exhibiters and helpers
3) list of models to be displayed and values for insurance purposes
4) any special stand requirements
5) completed risk assessments, if they wish to run engines or models on the stand.

I will consolidate all the entry lists and forward them the to the show management team. Remember we need to provide a presence on each of the four days of the show, in order to be allocated a display area. The dates for MMEX 2025 are Thursday 16th October to Sunday 19th October.

Unfortunately, this will be the last year I will be attempting to coordinate the MEM attendance. Next year, someone else will need to take over the reins.

So please cooperate and send me the necessary information, use it or loose it!!!

Well that's very disappointing.   :toilet_claw:

Two weeks ago, I asked for all exhibiters to provide me with all the necessary information for me to book the space, tables etc. on your behalf. I also sent PMs and emails to those concerned. That's given you all 11 days and two weekends to reply.

So far, I have only received one single reply from Mike Cole. Mike can do the Thursday and Friday, but that alone is not enough for me to book  the space, tables etc. on your behalf.

Mike will be exhibiting many of his replica aero engines and also wants to run a stationary engine on one of the tables, behind a roped off safety barrier. (I will ask the show organisers to provide a suitable barrier for one table only).

I feel for your frustration Mike. Sadly it is beyond my driving/walking round the show or womaning the stand on my own, then driving home again, capability any more.

The world is changing and few of us are as capable as we once were.  :old:
