Tramway loco

paul gough:
I have done some drawings of a simplified adaptation of the ‘Perseverence’ tramway locomotive shown in “Merthyr Tydfil Tramroads and their Locomotives by Rattenbury and Lewis. I am hoping there are other sources on early industrial tramway locos including the above. Can anyone assist? Regards, Paul Gough.

Zephyrin:
The early Trevithick tramroad locos is greatly documented on the internet...as are the Stephenson's locos ...
I saw this one at the club last month, a commercial model by Aster, she ran perfectly

Thanks Zephyrin, I was aware of some of the Trevithick loco  information but will look more thoroughly. I was also lucky to see the Aster Grasshopper running at a Gauge One steam up many years ago, an intriguing little engine it is. Regards, Paul Gough.

Hello Paul,
I know a model building colleague who only deals with very old steam locomotives. It's amazing the variety of locomotives there was.
