You should be able to connect your phone to your PC with the same cable you charge it with. It should show up as a drive on your PC and you can copy pics from that to your computer. If you have an Android phone, this is pretty straight forward. If you have an Apple phone, this is a mess as they use some bizarre hashing algorithm to store the photos, so it can be quite a challenge to find what you're looking for that way. There are some apps that you can use to download pics from your phone to your PC, though I'm not familiar with them. I do it the hard way on my wife's phone. I'll have to let someone more familiar with that tell you what apps to use.
Another option is to use TapaTalk. That's an app you can download on your phone and it works with the forum software that we use here at MEM. With that, you can compose your posts on your phone and attach photos from there without having to transfer them. Or alternately, you can compose your post on your computer, then you might be able to edit the post on your phone and add the photo attachments... Just a thought. I don't really like Tapatalk. I didn't find it very friendly to use. I prefer using the browser interface on the phone. Actually, now that I said that, you can probably attach photos through the browser interface on your phone and not have to transfer them. The only problem here would be that the pictures would like be huge. I don't know how to edit the photo size on your phone, though there is likely a way, I'm sure.
Good luck in figuring out how to retrieve your photos from your phone!
