Large Skeleton Clock
wagnmkr:
It has been a while since I posted anything here so here goes....
I find a box in the basement a couple of days ago and had no idea what was in it. Imagine my surprise when I found the bits and pieces of a printed clock. Once I saw what it was I remembered printing it but I have no idea why I put it away without assembly.
Anyway there were only 2 parts that I hadn't printed so I got those going and put the thing together. The first run was not successful so I took it apart, did a couple of tests, and found that the bearings hadn't been degreased as good as they could be. An overnight soak in some degreaser, assembly again this morning, and when I hung it on the wall, away it went.
This was made from odds and sods of filament so it is quite multi coloured. I might do this one again, only in a better colour scheme.

Take CNR6400 with you when you go. Have someone lock the door from the outside.

What a delightful re-discovery from the basement. Looks a very attractive piece of mechanical animation for a blank spot of wall. Regards, Paul Gough.
