Kim:
Good luck with the Move, Ron! And enjoy the grandkids too! That's the most valuable time ever!
You've got a lot of work in store for you (and a lot of work behind you if you're mostly packed). I don't envy you that! But it is exciting looking forward to a new place, and a (hopefully) bigger shop! As RedHouseLuv did, make sure and take this opportunity to put some good lighting in your shop. One of the best shop improvements I ever did was to put in a lot of LED light fixtures! That has really made the time out in my shop much more enjoyable.
Best of luck to you. Make sure and take pictures so we can see how the new shop is coming along.

RReid:
Thank you so much, Sanjay. A shop sink is a nice bit I've never enjoyed!
Thank you, Kim! A lot of work is almost an understatement.
I agree with you both re. shop lighting. When we lived in Maryland I built my "dream shop", a 32ft x 24ft pole barn, with two 9ft roll-up doors, one man-door, and a window. Did all the work myself, except the concrete floor and the electrical. I had the electrician install more outlets than I really needed, and more lighting too, but on two separate circuits so I could leave half of them off when not needed. I really hated leaving that all behind, but looking forward to the increase in space I'm going to have compared to what I have now.
RReid:
Starting to get settled into the new house. Most of our stuff arrived Saturday, including all my shop tools and materials. My son and his two older kids helped us get the Pod unloaded into the garage and most of the house things into the house. Since then we've been unpacking, putting away, and generally putting in the energy required to reduce the local entropy against its will. The shop still has a quite a ways to go before it's functional, but at least more things are off the floor than on it now.
Loving the increased space though.

      One step at a time, you will get there. There might be a plug in anti-entropy-increase device available on Amazoon...they got devices for everything else!
crueby:
Should be a great space to create in! Looks like your shop elves are doing arial recon in that little plane, to figure out best locations for benches and tools...
