Using the Rotary table with stops, Have you tried it.

I often have to make a radius that blends into a straight section and this can be tricky to know when to stop turning the handwheel so I thought has anyone made stops for the Rotab. but I could not see any on youtube so I had a go making it myself while machining a piece for my latest engine and I think it could work quite well.

Interesting proposal / idea
You don't really know what is next until you have used it fo a while ....
Though I will point out that you need something to lock the Adjusment Screw.
I would try to make a small hole slightly overlapping the current thread and put a piece of Nylon in there - to create a Nylock function.
Many other ways to scin that Cat.

Have a look back through Ramon's posts he has some good stops on his rotary table.
Since getting the CNC my R/T does not get so much use.

For blend radii I mostly use my GHT Small Rotary Table. It has good stops and the lever action is quicker than lots of handle twiddling.

Charles has beaten me to it with reference to the excellent small rotary table designed by Geo. H. Thomas. For all but quite large radii it is much the easiest rotary table to use, especially for little components like link motion parts and the little ends of con rods, where there isn't very much material to be taken off and the table can be swept round against a fast cutter fairly rapidly. I usually set the stops just a little short of the blend, and then nudge them fractionally to achieve the final result. Dave
