Hello from West Virginia, USA
« on: June 20, 2024, 06:33:50 PM »
I am a retired Mechanical Engineer that has been building models since 1977.  I do most of my machining on a 1934 9" South Bend and a 1950's style Atlas Milling machine.  I plan on posting some of my completed models that are from Stuart Turner, PM Research, and Tiny Power Engines.

I do restore vintage machines and am a collector of vintage Starrett tools.

Best Regards,

Lou

Welcome to MEM Lou!
All the things I like including the vintage Starrett tools, I also collect Starrett advertising and promos. I don't have a lot but a nice little assortment.

Welcome, Lou! always great to hear from a fellow South Bend 9" lathe user. Look forward to seeing your projects.

PS my lathe's a 1949 model B. A fine machine, even though it was beaten up and worn out long before I owned it!

Will be interested to see the models and the Starrett related goodies.  Like many on this excellent Forum, I've built Stuart engines and use some older Starrett gear among the kit in the workshop.  Dave
