The Worlds Smallest Stirling Engine

Now I don't know whether to mod this and put it on a wooden plinth or just leave it alone?

Nice. I can see the desirability of it  :embarassed:

P.S. The scientists have already gone way down on anything we could look to build in the way of tiny Stirling engines: https://www.mpg.de/4691201/thermodynamics_microscopic_steam_engine (I will forgive them for calling it a steam engine ... they still have a lot to learn  ::) )

Indeed a very nice engine running perfect. I think it offers a lot of fun for you  :)

Nevertheless the suppliers claim "The Worlds Smallest Stirling Engine (Supposedly)" is a little overdone.

Please have a look at this guys homepage with his unbelievable small sizes:

Here is a video of a very small hot air engine made by him:

Jim:
Thanks Jo and Richard for those links, the skill involved in those tiny builds is incredible.

Mcgyver:
A neat little engine and only $90 US.  I might be able to make myself .... working for about a cent an hour!
