The Showcase > Shows
by bike through the City
Michael S.:
When the weather is good, I don't go to work by car, but rather by bike. I have to drive from the south end to the very north of the city. That's about 16 km.
When it doesn't rain I have a lot of fun.
Today on the way back home I took a few photos of old iron. There are some old, technical things that I drive past.
There is a small slide show.
When I got home the closing bell rang.

Michael S.:
Thanks Chris and Mike,
the locomotives were used for transport in the factories. They are standing with the ships in the old harbor. Everything is freely accessible.
The red steam engine is on the grounds of the technical university and the brown steam engine is at a beer garden.
Magdeburg was a large industrial city until the iron curtain was opened in 1990.
There isn't much left of it now.
Except for a few relics.
Michael
