Wilesco D16 repaint

Davyboy:
Thanks for checking in, Art.  Probably won't exhibit at Badger this year, my 50 year class reunion happens that weekend.  I hope I can visit Badger for a few hours on Saturday early.

Nice resque job

I like the paint job - especially the fact that you 'left some bare metal' on the Rods and Flywheel  :)

Davyboy:
Thanks Per.  It's a struggle for me to decide on a paint scheme, try to highlight some features without being too gaudy.  I started painting this guy before I really fixed  anything, so I had to be really careful when working on it.  Just always gotta do it the hard way :wallbang:

I think the colors are very well chosen. I like it. It appears to be an older Wilesco steam engine. The ball regulator is missing? Maybe you can still recreate it.

Davyboy:
Michael, my thoughts are to come up with a spinning attachment similar to the one in your link.  It seems very possible to fabricate something similar, I'll have to make two, there's another model on my bench that needs one, as well.
