Industrial Loco
« on: January 11, 2024, 03:36:25 PM »
I found a drawing of this little industrial loco online, and for some reason I just had to build a model of it.

These engines were built to order by Hudswell Clark, so I don’t think there are two the same.

The model is to G3 and has steel frames, aluminium wheels, the body is all brass, and the buffer stocks, safety valve bonnet, and backhead are 3D printed, and R/C

Another very fine model, and full of character : the variations in the whole spectrum of small industrial locos would make a most interesting collection if a group of them was to be modelled. Huge amounts of info on these engines in magazines like the years of "Bylines"  issues. Dave

That is a lovely wee Loco. It would look good running in the garden with a couple of vintage carriages behind.
I was cut out to be rich ... but ... I was sewn up all wrong!

Splendid  :praise2: I have always liked the small industrial locos, especially narrow gauge  :)
Best regards
