Can anyone identify what sort of Valve Gear is installed on the Steam Engine in the attached video ?

It is a Sulzer engine and has their Double seat valves, notch - valve control system "Sulzer series III" ( it uses their a modified Poppet valve gear to limit the opening time of the intake valves )



The video tells you most of what you need about the valve gear.

Models of that type are quite popular in mainland Europe, the German model engineers seem to make a lot of them often linked to a generator similar to what is shown in Jo's links.

The so-called valve-controlled steam engines were very common in Germany at the end of the development of the steam engine.
There were several variants of these valve controls.
There is also a blueprint that many model makers have used to build a model.
