Good to see it running can only get better once the H&M is kicking in.

I think the video problem is a combination of holding the phone vertically rather than horizontal and the length of th evideo. Youtube tends to class those as "shorts" which don't seem to embed like a usual landscape video does.

I was more shocked that it was running and just grabbed the phone.  Never checked orientation.  The video would have been longer had the engine not died.  I think I need much weaker springs for the governor.  Not sure what will work best.  Small springs appear to be very hard to locate.

Yes I was very pleased.  Not only that it won me third prize 2 hours later in my local model engineer societies Craftsmanship awards competition.

I now need to get the fuel tank filled up fully and run it for a longer period.  I can feel the compression getting better already and can feel a nice little bounce-back on compression stroke.  The governor springs are a little too strong at present.  Until I can source something a little better I may try removing one spring or maybe even a thin rubber band.

Yes, I think Jason is spot on with the video issue.  You can't embed 'shorts' and YouTube seems to decide that any video recorded on a phone in portrait mode, under 60 seconds, is a short.  I've fought with that and the best way to keep your video from being a short is to recorded it in landscape mode.

I wish they would let you decide if it's a 'short' or if you just want it to be a regular video. But they don't. They decide for you.  I've found the whole thing rather frustrating.

If you copy the YouTube link as soon as you start uploading the video, before it decides that it is a 'short' you get an embedable link.

Thanks guys. I am going to have another go with it today. See how long I can run it for. Will try to adjust the H&M mechanism but may try removing a spring.
