A brush in the lid is worth two knackered ones in the bin!

My Kingdom for a Brush!

My good friend Midland purchased a bottle of layout fluid for me at the show. I had recently given back to him the one he had lent me for the past two years... :NotWorthy:
However, we used to get a brush included in the lid, but not any more, so I grabbed a small flat brush, cut off a section, machined a 3mm spigot on the end, drilled a hole in the lid, added some adhesive and screwed and glued a M3 nut on the other side.
Voila! The brush keeps moist, and there are no more gnarled and bushy brush heads full of dried out blue stuff!

I’ve been using Jumbo markers for about 15 years now, I’ve found them far more convenient. You can apparently buy fluid to top them up but they last ages.

Sorry - but what Brand ?

The ones I find are like their smaler siblings and do NOT contain any Rubber, that you apply to the subject ....
