Tin-Falcon:
Greetings HMEM members:
A new old guy here. The last post I made was 5 years ago under the handle Tin Falcon. Not sure why the long radio silence, lost passwords changed e mail address and a bunch of other reasons /excuses, life etc. I guess. I attempted to use the contact page in January to no avail. In the meantime, I was more or less happy to sand bag and check in as a guest.

Of course, covid and some vehicle concerns put a damper on shows and personal contact. I have been doing the Kinzer shows the last couple years and connected in person with a few of you at cabin fever when I was there as general admission.

Last November I was able to obtain a mid 1968 Bridgeport M head.  Have been in the slow process of turning the old garage into a shop. I need to finish the floor currently about half poured concrete with rough uneven edges. Trying to decide between poured concrete or end grain pine 4 x 6 block floor.

Seeing James Senf show up prompted me to return, He is one of the true living Legends of the hobby. Jim if you see this would love to chat.

As far as HMEM I am done with them have been for years. With there we own what you post attitude I would be betraying myself if I rejoined in any form or fashion.

As far as projects I am in the early stages of building a Ray HasBrouk No 4.

I am not going to try to catch you folk up on five years of life but anything specific just as and i will answer appropriately.

And lastly Admins :if you can send a new password for my old account to the e-mail used to set up this current account that would be fantastic.  also For some reason I can't seem to sign on via Vivaldi I have to us MS edge Ughg .

Resectfully tin

Hi Tin, welcome back!!

Hi Tin,
As a moderator, I don't think I have the ability to reset your password.  But I've pinged the admins and one of them will likely address this shortly.

Nice to see you back on line!

Kim

PS Yes, the 'contact' channel seems a bit spotty to say the least.  I think it might be part of the SMF software showing its age...

Tin Falcon:
thanks Kim Jo took care of me so I Officially Back.
apparently Vivaldi just does not like this web site

Great!  Looks like your connection to all your old topics/posts are linked up again too.
