AdeV,
On topic of forgetting/losing password is it possible you could reset mine.  I tried to get on about 12 months ago and system would not accept what should have been my password.  I did message you but did not hear back.
Thanks
Colin

Hey Colin,

Sorry about that... there might have been a bit of a lapse in keeping up with the emails.... (apologies).

Can you PM your username, I'll have a look tonight.

Cheers,
Ade.

Hello Ade

Thanks for fixing the Coppermine links.

You know, I have got rather used to Coppermine, warts and all. If you do write a new gallery browser, I hope they can run side by side for a while, so we wont immediately have to learn the new system. It would be nice for the user to have the choice.

Mike

Hi Mike,

I expect Coppermine will be sticking around for a while yet... If for no other reason than I'll need to find a way to transparently migrate all the images in it, to the appropriate accounts in the new system (eek!).

However - it won't live forever - for the simple reason that, as it ages, it'll become more and more of a security hazard on the server. A sad fact of life, most web project updates are plugging security holes.

Hopefully, you'll find the new system so easy & intuitive to use, that pretty soon you'll not want to go back - that's the goal, anyway!
Cheers,
Ade
