Hit & Miss Engine - Help Needed

G'day all, I have taken more than a few days to build the base for this Enjomor 6cc Hit & Miss Engine. Really happy how it turned out.
I can't get a spark from the plug. Has anyone got any thoughts on what to check out to see why I'm not getting a spark? I've pointed out in the video a few things where I'm stuck.

Their ignitions are built for Hall sensors that have 3 wires but the contact type switch only required two of those so red signal is not connected

Thanks Jason appreciated. That red wire not being connected had me worried. Now that I know that, at least I can rule that out.

I've checked a fair things, checked for as much connectivity with a multimeter as my knowledge will allow....just can't find why its dead as a door nail.

 two different systems exist for these electronic ignition modules... one with 2 wires connection to a reed switch or a plain switch, and another more common with three wires for an Hall effect magnetic sensor.
you may check for the presence of a hall sensor with 3 wires in front of a magnet somewhere in a rotating part (on the cameshaft usually).
this setup is sensitive to magnetic field, therefore, test it without the magnet added for the oil tray !

but I suspect you have the first model with a plain switch of the relay type visible on your model..hence only 2 wires are required. but it is not easy to see that on your video.
the point is that these modules are very prone to fail, the module is probably fried, you have to ask for a replacement !

This engine doesn't have the Hall sensor, just a the contact switch (which is different from my other ones with the Hall sensor).

Is there some easy way to test to confirm that the module is dead?
