Good to see it running again.
I love the Volkwagen Käfer.

Great Repair / Modification Ron

Sounds like it is running much more evenly on all Four, than your mk.I Crank version did - is that my imagination or your observation too ?

Well done, Ron.  A great result.  One to be proud of.

Danke. The engine I built to put in that started it all. I enjoyed that project so much I wanted to do more, but also wanted to make my own parts rather than buy them all. So here I am!

Yes, I do think it is running better than before, but still seems to be about 2 ½ cylinders rather than all four. The one farthest away in the video is cold and just spitting out raw fuel. I plan further trouble shooting and also to try running again with the alternate intake manifold I made.

Thank you. That monkey motion valve train is what drew me into this project, but I always questioned whether I'd be successful in making a running model using it. I have to admit that seeing it actually running gives a great deal of satisfaction.
