This one of the cars we sponsor, last week the 16 year young man who drives this car, was pushed into the wall......bent the subframe, completely wiped out the front end......I came in to a note from the boss about "clipping the car", I cut stock up and fitted it to the jig, the welders did there thing, while I cut off the old subframe.
I went to our parts house (we build suspension parts, mainly, for the racing industry) adjustable upper control arm mounts were grafted on, slotted shaft control arms were fabled up and we are back in business .
In the top picture you can see a set of slotted shaft upper control arms, small screw I ball joint (Chrysler style) .
