Friday set up is from 12 noon till 5 or 6 that evening.  We currently only have tent space or open air u Der a covered area open . Air & 110vt available in certain areas. Food will available.
Looks like this could be a very very large show! Not one to miss!

What month will the 2024 show be? Or better yet do you have a firm date?

October 2024 will be at https://natmus.org/ And the dates will be October 12th and 13th  with set up on Friday the 11th

There hasn't been much dialog about this show, on this forum, since the original posting. I have followed it on the other forum and posted my concerns. When I contacted Aaron about space availability I was told that the building was already full. My question is full of what? I don't recall seeing anything about reservations.  I was told there is a tent and covered pavilion which brings about my second question.  The forecast is for temperatures in the 50's and 60% rain. Not very conducive to standing for seven hours. If someone in the know could elaborate it would make my decision much easier for 6 hours of travel time.

Good morning George,
I'll do my best to respond, as when I spoke with Aaron Kohler a few days ago to confirm Joy and my attendance as vendors, he was super-busy and could only talk for a minute.

Here's my understanding.  The show is being held in Monroeville City Park, in a pavillion that is partly enclosed (location of "inside" spaces).  The organizers had decided to put the vendors inside and the exhibitors under the pavillion.  The vendor area is full (of vendors who have agreed to set up), so they plan to have any others coming to set up in other areas. 

The show very quickly outgrew the pavillion, so they ordered a large, heated tent.  The tent has plenty of tables and the organizers have repeatedly said they will make space for whoever comes. 

This is the 26th-annual show for the Machinist Group of NE Indiana; however, it's the first-annual on their own without being tied to another full-size-antique-engine organization.  Given the bad news about the NAMES expo, the Great Lakes region has been left with a void.  Unexpectedly, the club holding the show seems to be filling that void.  (That's great news, and why Joy and I are travelling 500 miles to support the show.)  Next year's show is already being planned and will be indoors at a large auto museum.  Hopefully, most of the growing pains this year will be worked out for that show.  We're already planning to attend next year's show, as well.

Rain.  Yup, it's supposed to rain most of the end of this week and be in the 50s.  This will likely dampen the attendance and make the show more difficult for loading and unloading.  The tent is to be heated.  I think I'd rather have a heated tent in a Fall rain then be in Lebanon, PA, in a January snow storm.  :)Been there, done that, and still go back each year.

 Greetings all, the chances of rain are dropping to not much, possibly in the morning.
We do have some place inside the building for exhibitors (& vendors) !
We do have a large heated tent and an outdoor cover area , we have space.
Please understand this is our first big show and stand alone show. Next year we will be in the large national auto and truck museum in Auburn Indiana
There may a few "growing pains" but this should be a spectacular show

Thank you for clarifying everything.  My negative response was due only to the fact that since the original announcement there was very little information coming out.
I hope you realize my point of view.  I plan on attending and will do everything I can to support this great hobby.

Thank you for your understanding!  I got banned on one fourm, and this a lot of work being the chairman of the show. I'm certain someone will not flow as well as we wanted,  and promise ne t years to run better. We have space and we will make room.
