I'm going to do a build article of it in Live Steam.
That's very exciting, Sid!  Congratulations!

Do you know when your build article will be run?

Thats excellent!

The magazine is always looking for more articles on general engines, they have gotten into a rut of locomotive models, and the editor is always looking for other models to round out the articles and attract more modelers.  Its also a great way to help pay for the hobby, they pay well per page.

Not really. I have to submit the text and like Chris said, there are some long running series articles going on now that Dave (editor) has to manage.
I've got to set up my photo cube and use my Nikon for a really good photo to try and make the cover again. If I do, it would be my third (IIRC) for Live Steam.
But got to get going on the text. I took a lot of build photos along the way.

Hi Sid

The lase engraved floor is just beautiful! Can you also give us some details on the rest of the base, the black surround?

Thanks
Dave

I'd  say I'm sorry  that my steam shovel series is one of those long ones in the way, but I'm not!
