Admiral_dk:
Looks very much like the full size I saw @ National Railway Museum York (UK) in 2019  :praise2:  - (except for parts not painted yet)  ;)

I work with a very skilled Craftman making our Prototype eBikes - and I can tell you that there is also quite a collection in his bin (admittedly most stuff that looked good, but didn't make the Cut) ....

Zephyrin:
very nice model, and the plans were not the simplest things to decipher...great work with the valve gears and tubing, congratulations.

Rich Carlstedt:
Nice work !

Don't know if you did your barrels yet, but here is a thought
30 years ago, I wanted to make a scale Water Pail in Oak to go with my Fortress Cannon
The pail is only 1-1/4" in diameter, but looks good  (IMHO) as seen below
You start by slicing all kinds of fine oak  (maybe stain ?) and laminating them together as seen in the bottom of the pail
Purposely change grain direction , and when the glue is dry, chuck it in the lathe and turn the wood into round stock
Then flip in the lathe and turn the OD and then bore the ID as needed .
Result is a Oak Pail  in my case with staves

Now THAT'S  clever!

Bob Wild:
Thanks again chaps for your interest and comments. Hope my barrel looks as good as your bucket. Made a start on the frame of the tender. Soldered together and a few screws.

Bob
