We were -32C overnight, its warmed up to -26C now.  Looking forward to 0C next week!  I'll be able to kick the car out of the garage and do some welding and soldering!

23F(-5C) daytime here in the mid-Atlantic states (Pennsylvania). Cold enough overnight to give the jugs lined up outside the workshop of tramp oil from the coolant tank skimmers a hard freeze and separate the oil from the water. Oil is recycled in the woodstove to jumpstart the fire lighting process. Saves having to split the kindling into too small pieces.

Today the sun showed up after a long time but only 5 ° C.
I could smell the spring a little bit.

Very similar to Mike C in Ottawa last night ... -36c. It has warmed up to -9c now with snow falling. This winter has been a funny one. The temps have been up and down and all over. We are now forecast for rain tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday.
I was cut out to be rich ... but ... I was sewn up all wrong!

Took Caterham 7 (210bhp) up into Peak District early this morning.  I was only one in open topped car the rest were quick saloons.  It was rather cool, all grass and cars were white over and up on the area by Blue John Caverns and other high areas all roadside puddles were solid ice and in lots of places ice all across the road.  Very judicious use of the right foot.  Car needed a good wash to remove the salt and mud when got home.

210 HP in a car that weighs as much as a Range Rover front seat, on slippery roads - yikes!

Here in Cornwall it was dry and mild so I cut a friends grass in her front garden. I cut the grass in her back garden yesterday, and my own back garden over a week ago. I used my battery mower on my friends garden, amazing thing.

Chris,
Yes it was a tad slippy.  It is rated at 420bhp/ton.  The other 4 cars included Porsche Boxster, Golf R, Mazda MX5 and Audi A5.  The Golf and the Audi were both 4 wheel drive so could cope  a little easier.  For some unknown reason very few motorbikes about. :)
