small bandsaw repair/improvement..

my Little Machine shop 4829 small bandsaw that has seen little use started having the blade get out of the guides,, found that one guide mount/block did not have clearance and the bearing was binding,, in the removal part of this the threads and bearing bolts were buggered and stripped. :rant: picked up some new bolts,, drilled and thread inserted the base,, milled the blocks for a correct fit.. all is working well again..  :whoohoo: still not happy that this required doing..

Great that you got it running well again  :ThumbsUp: - but I agree - these things should last much much longer than some of them do  :wallbang:
