Thanks Bruno. Haven't really had much to add to the write up after finishing the Quorn, which is there if I need it at times. I may have said, that some years ago I completely refurbished s/h Quorn for a friend, re-machining two eBay Quorns into one decently working machine.
I would not have taken the work on had I known what it would involve! , would have been much better to have used the time getting my own Quorn further to completion. But after getting this s/h machine functioning, I sharpened literally many hundreds of cutters in my workshop before returning it to the friend ( who has never used it ....)!
So I haven't really had the application for my own Quorn that I'd envisaged. I would need to be doing far more milling than is likely to happen before I find myself with blunt end mills or slot drills! Since finishing the cutter grinder, what workshop time I have had has been used to complete my Stuart major beam engine, which I will post something about soon. Dave
