Hello, thanks for having me
« on: January 20, 2023, 06:44:11 PM »
My name is Lee, I work in the motor industry and the reason I’m here is I love model engineering in most of the different paths that takes, I currently have a few projects on the go, a kit mk2 escort from my partner, a 3 1/2” gauge Juliet but modified with larger tanks, a 3 1/2” gauge Maisie and a 5” gauge Flying Scotsman. Hopefully I’d like to learn from this forum but also share my knowledge if it will help someone.
Anyway thanks again

Lee

Hi Lee,
Welcome to the forum!

Sounds like you've got a lot of projects! We'd love to see some pictures of what you're working on.

Hello Lee, and welcome!

By "kit mk2 escort" do you mean a plastic model kit, or something else? I'd get things all mixed up if I tried to manage three locomotive projects all at once!

Ron

Hi Lee, welcome! That is a lot! I'd also like to see pics, if you are up to posting them.

evening all, the mk2 escort is a plastic kit, as for the locos, im working on the juliet currently as im building it in honour of my dad who sadly doesn't have much time left, its his fault i like mechnical things and want him to see it run. the loco is around 85% finished but i think i can have it done within a month or so. As for the maisie and the scotsman theyre both long term projects. When i get a little more time il pop some photos up

Welcome to the forum.  My dad has a 3-1/2" Maisie "nearly" done - going on 10 years or more.  Do share pics, I can use to prod him to finish.
Mike
