Photos below show top part of manifold.  Cutters used
 10mm Slot drill (cut out silhouette)
 6mm with  corner rad, to rough out shape
4mm  with corner rad,  to define more detail
3mm ball nose, finish tool path
2mm ball nose, reduce flange fillet
Next job will be to mill the under side, drill holes and wiz out the inside using burrs in a pendent drill.

 Underside of intake manifold machined. Inside cavity's cut out, then a shine over to make it look like the original.
Next job, spot through holes into cylinder head and tap 6-32 unf.
After that carburetor to be made. More 3d milling.

I machined pockets using ball nose end mill, then drilled at an angle between pockets. A flexi drill and burs were used to create passage through.

Ron, not a good description. Pendent drill would be its proper name (motor with flexible shaft and collet.)

Special thanks to Mr George Britnell for sharing his design carb with me, which I have adapted to look similar to an Amal concentric which were fitted to British bikes in the 60's and 70's.

I do not expect there to be many small bores inside this design (as this came a number of years later in most brands) - so that ought to be do-able too.
