Hello, everyone,
Today I tested the boiler. The gas regulator works great. After 6 minutes a pressure of 1 bar was present. At a pressure of 3 bar, the burner goes to a small flame.
The feed pump also works. I think I'll put another gauge on the heater side.
And next, a steam engine will be connected.

Thank you Chris!

Was the weather, the cold, bearable at your home? Or did it not get as cold as the news shows me.

yes Per the first stage is done. I used a lot of parts here that come from the collection box. I mainly had to redo pipes and fittings.
Now two pipes for the machine. Could I do it this year?

We got down to about 5 degrees farenheit with 40 to 50 mph wind gusts, but not much snow where I am. Its back up closer to the freezing point now, supposed to be above freezing in a couple days. Power flixkered a number of times but never went out.

Today I heated up the boiler again.
This time with the steam engine.

Beautiful work, that really sets the bar for visual appearance....nothing like lots of brass and wood to take the prize!

Can you give some details on the brass straps?  How did you make what looks like a profiled one on the front?  Are the straps tightened underneath?

thanks guys for the kind words.
The end ring is a curved tube that is soldered to a brass band with silver solder. That makes a nice ending.
