« on: December 15, 2022, 03:17:24 AM »
CANCELLED!

Sorry Guy's and gal's but I just got the official word about an hour ago. One of the board members showed up at the metal club Christmas party and made the anouncement.

Oh Man! this is a huge disappointment. Did they give any reasons?

We did hear some "opinions" as to why but it's not my story to tell. Nothing official.

Does it sound like this is the end for NAMES? There is no outside reason not to have a show this year- it is the boards decision not to do it. I know the board  is getting older, and smaller, and there never seemed to be any younger guys joining the board. I can understand why they dont want to organize the show any more- it is a  lot of work.

Fortunately Cabin Fever is on, and going full blast. I saw Gary last week, collecting machines for the auction, and he said all is well  for Cabin Fever and they expect to have even more exhibitors this year.

Yes Ron it's not looking good for the show. I heard there have been multiple offers from people willing to take the reins and get it going but they have all been declined as of now. There was some talk of a 2024 show but hopes are not very high for that either.
