Aha! I found the solution for the jamming mechanism between the 12 o'clock inner wheel and drive sprockets to 1 o'clock wheel. It just need some clearance and lock it with a locknut mounted up side down.

I now moved the gear clock to my new home. Set it in the living room. So now I was thinking, let try again. What is causing the jamming situation of the gear drive. Which is quite random and not on same rotation position.

Chain drive is not tight on both sides. There is quite a play between the 3 inner support gears.

For now it is more still a nice object to look at;)
