They are not impressive are they . Stuart Casting used to have a fine finish -those look like they used rough old sand. Are there any other castings full of holes?Jo
I'm with Charles, they may look a bit rough in the zoomed in photos but what surface would not, the ones that show the whole bed casting look reasonable with just an excess of flash which is easy enough to deal with and I thought part of the "fun" of working from castings.SNIPI came across this earlier in the week, I think Mr Westbury is on the right track on his articles about Muncaster's work
Stuart Models accepted the return without question.I get my Cowells tomorrow so I'll have to look for something else!John
A good response from Stuart Models but a big disappointment overall. I am sure you would have been dreaming about building the triple for a long time.Hope the Cowells does not disappointMike
Hello John,Well, Reeves have a solid reputation and the Bolton Triple looks just great. Will you go for it?Mike
Hope the Bolton works out for you,SNIPPS. Couple of major castings are not GM
And if you can show a little patience Reeves have a couple of weeks when they do 20% off each year I am trying to remember when Looks around end of March sort of time Jo
