Hello Sanjay,
I had the same problem again when starting my vacuum engine: it took a long time to run. But after about 10 minutes, it started running, and it ran all day. Starting with cold cylinders and cold coolant causes major problems with condensation in the cylinder. The small water droplets slow down the piston. Other model builders then recommended starting with warm water. When the coolant is boiling, it runs at its highest speed! I just have to keep an eye on the coolant level.

I've not forgotten the Scott vacuum, we're just taking a break from each other for a while ;D That's interesting what you say when the coolant is boiling its running the fastest....I would not have expected that!
