Back in 1983 my foreman from my first machine shop opened his own shop, 3 of us helped him build it from the ground up, from day 1 J--- wouldn't let any sub-standard parts go out the doors, he was trying to build a reputation for high quality but fair priced parts. It worked well for him, when he passed on in 2001 and his kid took over it all kind of went down from there, sad, but that is how a lot of things go.
