That looks really nice, Ray!

What would be cool is to run it off of a steam engine, then have the air from the compressor run yet another engine off the air it produces.  That would be cool!

it's an old dentist compressor.
Maybe from the 1930s.
But Ray's compressor looks nicer!

Thanks  Michael but yours  is very nice too. I spoke to someone at Stuarts to see if I could get any information about who they supplied these compressors to, but all their records seem to have been lost long ago. He did mention,  however,  that they were supplied to the dental industry.
